Intersession Work

Here's what ya gotta do...

1. Update your portfolio in Google Sites.  Here's what it should look like:

  • You should have general page for each semester of school (last semester should be titled "Fall 2010"; this semester should be titled "Spring 2011."
  • You will create one subpage for each of the 4 major subject areas you are currently taking
  • For each page you should complete a reflection form (4 total) Spring Intersession Reflection form
  • The text of each Webpage should include a 100+word reflection about your Problem Solving skills in that class - you may choose one project or a more general description of how you are improving your problem solving skills.

2. Reading Log - also on Google Sites

  • You should make four more entries into the Reading Log about what kind of material you are reading.
  • You should be thinking about "Why am I reading what I read?" and "What am I getting out of it?"

Advisory--Week January 4th

Welcome back students!

Hope you had a fantastic break!

There shouldn't be many changes for you this quarter besides your schedules changing a little, a new staff member to our KCS team, and a few tweaks for ICT.

On Tuesday, Jan. 4th at 8:00 you will go to the blue room and meet with our advisory for 20 minutes.  You will get your schedule, and make sure you are signed up for the right classes. For advisory, we will continue to have 1st lunch and 2nd advisory in the world room.

As for Wednesday, you will have virtual school, but NO lower division student will have school.  ICT starts next week. Also, there is no extended day this week.

See you all Tuesday,

Ms. Wood
